Start a meaningful career at a fast-paced company with room for growth and development in ABA by applying for our ABA Behavior Technician role in Blairstown, NJ today! *As a Compass ABA- Behavior Technician, your responsibilities will include:* * Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) * Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) * Collect and record data on client progress and behavior * Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals * Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive learning environment * Follow all safety protocols and procedures * Follow the ABA Treatment Plan and corresponding treatment goals as designed by the BCBA *Required Skills:* * Minimum of a high school diploma or college degree in a related field preferred * Highly dedicated to providing the best quality services * Eagerness to learn * Previous experience working with children or with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred * Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, families, and team members * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet * Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or other designated locations * Ability to pass a background check Note: This position requires working directly with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Training will be provided, but candidates should have a genuine interest in working in this field and a passion for helping others.
