Assistant Daycare Teacher

Key Responsibilities: * Interact and encourage children in activities during the day.
* Provide nurturing care while helping them develop independent skills.
* Help children learn appropriate social skills.
* Assist the Lead Teacher with planning activities for the children.
* Assist in the maintenance of the classroom as a clean, organized, and safe place for the children to spend time.
* Must comply with state regulations as well as with Program Policies of Countryside Daycare and Preschool.
Teacher Requirements: * Classroom experience in working with children is required.
* Dependability and commitment.
* Flexibility Must Provide the following documents prior to commencing employment: * PA DHS Child Abuse Clearance (within the last four years) * PA State Police Clearance (within the last four years) * FBI Fingerprint Clearance (within the last four years) * Two Reference Letters (indicating the number of hours working directly with children) * Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Online Training (within the last four years) * Mandated 10 Hours Health and Safety Training through Better Kid Care.
* First Aid and Pediatric CPR training (within the last year) Time Commitment: 4 hours per day 5 days a week (part-time) or 8 hours per day 2-3 days per week (part-time) Hourly Rate / Benefits: $11.
00 - $15.
