Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to join our Mountainhome, PA team.
This position manages Quality Assurance processes and / or projects as an individual contributor.
Works to achieve objectives that have a major impact on the organizational quality goals.
A professional who will help work through critical issues making a significant impact on the elimination of targeted defects.
Uses expertise to provide input on processes, standards, and plans to continuously improve quality.
This is an onsite position in Mountainhome, PA.
Relocation may be eligible.
Primary Responsibilities: Ensuring customers receive conforming material in timely manner through execution of processes.
This includes gathering information and inputs for processing material through MRB and the Quality Clinic.
Support FAI activities IAW AS9102.
Support compliance of special processes.
Facilitate and investigate RCCA for nonconformance's.
Plan, coordinate, and take responsibility for Quality activities that support the design, manufacturing and assembly of mechanical assemblies.
Review and approval of change orders.
Support for assigned programs/customers including KPI and customer specific corrective action.
Assist in the creation of root cause and corrective actions across the site.
Drive improvements through the corrective action board.
Initiate regular internal business process assessments to measure the “health” of the business in between audit cycles.
Communicate with site and quality leadership regarding trends (metrics) and nonconformance's.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
