The individual will perform duties as a Network Specialist.
Duties include management of local and remote networks including but not limited to, configuration, security, fault isolation, performance monitoring, and all related administration of a LAN environment.
Maintains records and develops statistics on network performance and security.
Monitors and controls the overall performance and security of LAN resources; identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting network performance.
Serves as the focal point for network problem reporting and enhancements.
The Assistant System Administrator reports directly to the System Administrator.
The individual will:
1.
Assist with the installation of software and hardware components and peripherals, perform system backups, and oversee the planning, installation, control, and maintenance of personal computers within the organization running numerous applications, using various peripherals, and continually updated hardware.

Review, monitor and upgrade existing personal computer systems.
3.
Diagnose and repair network and computer problems.
4.
Configure and maintain the organization's LAN server and workstations.
Manage performance of a multiple hardware and software platform network
5.
Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization's computer systems or PCs.
Identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide advice to assist users.
Coordinate with other areas to resolve problems if necessary.

Respond and troubleshoot any system issues.
7.
Assist users with education on basic systems such as Word and Excel as needed.
8.
Assist with the maintenance and operation of the phone system throughout the property.
Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, be competent in Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Must be familiar and have experience with Exchange online server.
Knowledge of MS Access preferred but not required.
3-5 years’ experience using the Internet, web browsing and e-mail systems.
College degree or a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate the ability to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on computers and network preferred but not required.
Weekends and evenings as needed.
Position requires exceptional Customer Service and communication skills (written and verbal)
