*Job Description:*
VILLAGE OF UNIONVILLE is seeking Inspectors to join our team in Unionville, NY.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine inspections of structures to determine compliance with codes and standards
* Perform structural and mechanical inspections to determine compliance with codes and standards
* Perform fire and life safety inspections to determine the need for repairs or changes
* Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspections to determine the need for repairs or changes
* Perform building systems inspections to determine the need for repairs or changes
* Complete documentation as required within a timely manner
* Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned properties, including construction, demolition, and other work orders as needed.
* Complete all forms, reports, and other documentation in a timely manner
* Ensure that all company vehicles are properly insured and have valid insurance tags attached.
(This is an ongoing responsibility)
