_We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician that will be able to fill the second shift at our Hazleton, PA plant.

*Summary*
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in preventative maintenance and repairs of production equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, PLC Programs, robotics, production machines, material handling equipment, AC/DC drives, lighting systems, blending/mixing systems, etc.
SCHÜTZ CONTAINER SYSTEMS builds proprietary equipment which uses state of the art technology.

*The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:*
* _*The Industrial Maintenance Technician *__removes and installs electric, hydraulic and pneumatic machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment_
* _*The Industrial Maintenance Technician *__troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends solutions for repair_
* _*The Industrial Maintenance Technician*_ _performs new machine/equipment installations and setups_
* _*The Industrial Maintenance Technician *__maintains the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools, and work areas_
* _*The Industrial Maintenance Technician *__uses work orders and maintenance plans to document repairs_
* _Other duties may be assigned as needed_
*Requirements/Skills:*
* _2+ years of industrial maintenance experience_
* _High school diploma / equivalent_
* _Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed_
* _Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
