The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience and related coursework pertaining to the following: maintaining databases including developing and running customized reports, inventory management, utilizing electronic purchasing systems, communicating with technology vendors, obtaining estimates for hardware, software, and technical services, and have a basic knowledge of PCs and Chromebooks.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized, a quick learner, and be capable of working independently when required.

* proficiently utilize Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* efficiently utilize email to communicate.
* follow Technology Department procedures for imaging/disk duplicating a PC and/or laptop.
* move, lift, unpack and physically set-up and maintain equipment, including PCs, laptops, Chromebooks, switches, access points, SmartBoards, network printers, audio visual equipment, data projectors, barcode scanners, thin client devices, etc.
* proficiently utilize tools for cutting, drilling and prepping areas for mounting equipment
* climb and transport ladders in order to run cable and complete other physical tasks connected to the set-up and installation of equipment.
* interact professionally with faculty, administrators and the Technology Department staff in order to complete each assigned job.
* promptly respond to requests for technical support from faculty and staff through assigned online service requests and articulate any issues or needs to faculty and staff as necessary.
* thoroughly document problem resolution of service requests including any/all necessary follow-up via the online service request database.
* communicate effectively and consistently and take direction.
* coordinate equipment deliveries, equipment moves and electrical issues with suppliers and the DVSD Maintenance Department, while following IT instructions during equipment setup and installation.
* attend bi-monthly school board work sessions and voting meetings and live stream via YouTube.
* work a flexible schedule as assigned and/or needed.
* lift at least 50 lbs.
An Act 34 Criminal History Clearance Report, an Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance Report, and a FBI Fingerprint Clearance and a valid driver’s license are necessary, along with all other required employment forms.
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the classified contract.
