The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment, including PLC-controlled machinery.

Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop solutions to resolve issues efficiently, minimizing downtime.
Utilize knowledge of PLC systems to troubleshoot and program controllers, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production requirements.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to prevent equipment failure and prolong machinery lifespan.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production personnel and engineering staff, to identify opportunities for equipment optimization and process improvement.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments, to maintain accurate records and facilitate future troubleshooting efforts.
Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities to ensure smooth integration into production processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PLC technology, recommending upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among team members.
Provide training and support to junior technicians and operators to enhance their understanding of equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled machinery.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram, with hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and actuators.
Working knowledge of packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, torquers, etc) and various types of pumps and valves Familiarity with industrial automation systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours, as needed.
Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
