Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
-Deliver orders to customers by driving a Mack truck hauling a 53 foot trailer
-Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company polices.
-Load, unload, and secure cargo, ensuring its integrity throughout the transportation process.
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance or repair needs.
-Maintain accurate records
-Assist with pulling/checking/loading orders
-Assist with unloading/checking/receiving all incoming deliveries
-Perform inventory counts
-Complete proper documentation (i.
e.
Packing slips/BOL, Shipping and Receiving form, etc.
)
-Ensure that company policies, procedures and standards are followed with regards to product safety, quality, and legality
-All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Valid CDL license.
-Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle.
-Ability to operate and maintain a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers.
-High school diploma or general education degree; three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
